Leaving for Havana in 5 hours.

This could be my last opportunit to communicate with the civilized, well technological, world. What am I thinking? I am crazy. Thats it. I'm staying in Miami for two weeks instead. I can just hang in key west and talk to the refugees about the culture. Screw it. Anyone want to come to Miami?? We can do South Beach, the beaches, fishing, lounging. Ok. Regroup. You can do this. I will find a way to get online and to get cell service. Florida is only 90 miles away right?? Ok. I'm off the ledge. Talked myself down. I'm going.

    It's an adventure of a lifetime that none of us will probably ever get to enjoy. Relax it's going to be better than you can imagine. Just minus the Starbucks, Cell phone, and BMW...

    Getting ready to board. Be in Havana in 1 1/2 hours. Everyone is already speaking Spanish and I'm going into culture shock. And lunch was spicy. Is this an indicator? I stocked up on pepto and imodium. Possibly sharing too much information here.

    You can swim....and life boats are what? $3.00? Worse comes to worse doggie paddle about 5 miles off shore..you'll be in the international zone. Oh but watch out for those cruise ships...and uhmm the Bermuda triangle.
