Spent yesterday in Santa Clara, a very conservation, Pentocostal (no spell check here...please forgive) area. Interestingly, the whole gay and lesbian movement is run by the more liberal churches, and by Mariela Castro, the niece of Fidel and daughter to the current President Raul. So...they fought to get a NationalDay Against Homophobia, sponsored by the churches and Mariela. The conservatives agreed to leave the gays alone. So everyone marched, cheered, drank....and then everyone got laid....great f<&$king message from the gay community, I say. They think we are all a bunch of sex freaks and what do you...put on a display of inappropriate sexual behavior in the streets...kudos...gays are the same everywhere. The LBGT community needs to get its shit together. Worldwide. LOL.
Anyway...I left (without getting laid Natalie) and wondered the streets and got lost. I wondered in the hot sun for over 2 hours thinking I would never again return to America...finally, in the distance, I found our tour bus and i was saved!!!
So now we are in Veradero...all the hotels, clubs, shopping centers live here....ahhh..civilization...we are supposed to be doing our workshops and panel discussions...we did that all morning but the beach kept calling my name so i left at noon. Will return tonight.

Hey babe! Stop wondering around, alone! Your dad is doing well, he was discharged yesterday. I stopped at ur fam's briefly, reminded him to take it easy, visited with ur gran. Joe, dawn & ur super cute nephews were also there, so that was nice to see them. Ur mom has loki, she is probably being held constantly & spoiled (more than I do) lol. I will refrain from commenting on your decision to wonder around alone and get lost...l will just remind you...safety in numbers and next time PLEASE grab one of your amigos to join you... Glad to hear you are now in the hotel/shopping zone...I have a feeling you will be shifting into vacation mode... I'm sporting an awesome looking cast...very fashionable...LOL....I wanted red,white and blue for the summer holidays but the tech was nasty and would'nt take the time to do it....so my next choice was purple, getting this color was like pulling teeth...the tech was mean!!! Lucky for me the Dr understood the meaning of purple and instructed the tech to just do it or I would have been stuck in some god awful color....Can't wait to hear more about your trip...Please be safe and PLEASE do not wonder the streets alone.
